Mental Health Task Force Announces Listening Sessions
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend and share feedback on NC State’s mental health support efforts at the sessions this month.
NC State’s Student Mental Health Task Force is working to gather information from the campus community that may help inform recommendations it puts forward for consideration.
There are several general listening sessions scheduled in January. These sessions are intended to allow students, faculty and staff to share thoughts on student mental health support on campus. Participation is essential to help inform the Student Mental Health Task Force as it seeks improvements to address student mental health at NC State.
To ensure student voices are heard and incorporated into the task force’s recommendations, the task force is working closely with NC State Student Government’s newly formed Select Student Body Department on Mental Health Intervention. Chazzlyn Jackson, chair of the newly formed department, also serves on the Student Mental Health Task Force.
