Congratulations to Cade Brady – Goldwater Scholar

Student Media Raises $5,100 from Day of Giving

NC State Student Media raised more than $5,100 from 71 donations during NC State’s seventh annual Day of Giving. The Technician Century Fund, established in 2020 to celebrate the newspaper’s 100th anniversary, saw 26 donations totaling more than $2,000. Most recently, the Technician Century Fund supported student travel to the National College Media Convention in New Orleans.…

The Academic Success Center (ASC) regularly hires tutors and academic peer mentors as well as writing consultants for its undergraduate and graduate writing centers. Both positions are on-campus, paid opportunities for students who enjoy helping their peers be academically successful.

World-Famous Glass Artist Instructs Honors Students Not to Fear Mistakes

When the participants of a short-term spring 2025 Study Abroad program traveled via vaporetto (an Italian public water bus) from Venice’s historic city center to the neighboring island of Murano to observe a glass-blowing demonstration, they had no idea they would be honored with the opportunity to meet one of the most beloved and renowned glass artists in the world.

A crowd of over 50 students and staff gathered in 111 Lampe Drive on the evening of March 5 to make their very own paper heart chains (as seen on the issue cover), play games and compete for the chance to win an exclusive copy of Roundabout signed by student body president Allison Markert and Student Media director Patrick Neal.
