On Saturday, Sept. 11, the NC State Crafts Center, along with Arts NC State, the music and dance departments, Military and Veteran Services and others hosted the Art of Remembrance to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Looking Back and Moving Forward

2020 will be a year long-remembered by NC State faculty, staff and students. Read about some of the lessons learned, including how Jeff Braden, retiring soon as dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, has asked his team to commit to concrete actions to reduce or eliminate racism and increase the ability to provide opportunity and increase social justice. Among other actions, Braden has set a goal of raising $1 million by June 30, 2021, to provide high-impact, life-changing experiences to all CHASS students — especially those from under-represented groups.
