Schwarzman Scholars

Robert Garris, Global Director of Admissions for the Schwarzman Scholars will be giving a presentation on this scholarship program.

Who: Schwarzman Scholars, inspired by the Rhodes Scholarship, is a program designed to help future leaders meet the challenges of the 21st century and beyond by preparing them to better understand China’s culture, economy, governance and motivations. Scholars will study for a one-year Masters degree in public policy, international relations, or economics and business at Tsinghua University, one of China’s most prestigious institutes of higher education.  Applicants who are currently enrolled in undergraduate degree programs must be on track to successfully complete all degree requirements by August 1, 2017 before orientation begins. There are no requirements for a specific field of undergraduate study; all fields are welcome, but it will be important for applicants, regardless of undergraduate major, to articulate how participating in Schwarzman Scholars will help develop their leadership potential within their field. There are NO citizenship or nationality requirements.
