The University Honors and Scholars Programs are excited to hear from one of their intrepid students, Massey Stichter, a third-year student in the University Scholars Program majoring in parks, recreation, and tourism management, about her spring 2021 experience with Outward Bound. Massey decided that she needed to take a break from Zoom classes and experience her education outdoors, so she joined Outward Bound’s 50-day backcountry skills course. Along the way, she learned canyoneering, climbing and wilderness first aid skills. Watch this video to hear more about Massey’s adventure.
