Honors Forum Presents Donald Lopez Jr.

The Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar is the featured speaker for the University Honors Program Forum events on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31.

All students, staff and faculty are welcome (even if you are not enrolled in Honors Forum this semester) to join the University Honors Program and Donald Lopez Jr., Ph.D., on either Monday, Oct. 30 for “Buddhism and Science” or Tuesday, Oct. 31 for “History and the Buddha.” 

Lopez is the Arthur E. Link Distinguished University Professor of Buddhist and Tibetan Studies and Arthur F. Thurnau Professor for the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Michigan.

Lopez’s visit is made possible through support provided by the Office of the Provost, the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Zeta of North Carolina Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa and the University Honors Program.
