Division of Academic and Student Affairs Receives Most Gifts University-Wide on Day of Giving
The division received more gifts than any other NC State college or unit. In addition to their gifts, alumni, faculty and staff, parents and students also helped the division win seven hourly social media challenges on the day.
The Wolfpack came out strong in support of the Division of Academic and Student Affairs for NC State’s 2021 Day of Giving. On the day, the division raised nearly $541,000 through 2,250-plus gifts — the most of any NC State college or unit. The division also received bonus funds by winning seven of the hourly social media challenges for the day as well as the Power Your Pack Leaderboard Challenge for nearly doubling the total number of gifts from the previous Day of Giving.
NC State as a whole set records for fundraising numbers as well. University-wide, NC State raised over $58 million from more than 14,000 gifts during the 24-hour period.
In the Division of Academic and Student Affairs, alumni, faculty, staff and students from around the nation and the world gave generously to 46 different funds to enhance programs in the division. This year, the Division of Academic and Student Affairs’ Board for Student Success provided an additional $11,500 in challenge funds to allocate to programs based on their share of total gifts that the division receives throughout the day.
