Cade Brady, a third-year chemistry student, has won the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship for STEM, academic year 2025-2026. The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program, established by the United States Congress in 1986, is one of the oldest and most prestigious national undergraduate scholarships in the natural sciences, engineering and mathematics. Its mission is to recognize and honor exceptional academic student leaders, furthering their lifelong commitment to research and scientific advancement.
A Park Scholar, undergraduate researcher in the Williams Lab, College of Sciences Ambassador and member of Alpha Chi Sigma, Cade plans to use this platform to further his desired career path of obtaining a Ph.D. in Chemistry and eventually going into academia.
