Women’s Center to Host Virtual Programs for Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Poster for Take Back the Night event

Despite the cancellation of in-person events, NC State Women’s Center plans to spread important messages through virtual activities as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

“While this year’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month will look and feel different, we believe it’s important to make space to recognize, celebrate, and support students, faculty, and staff who are doing the difficult work of dismantling rape culture and instead creating a culture of consent and a violence-free campus,” said Janine Kossen, associate director of the NC State Women’s Center.
