USP 2018 Senior Recognition Ceremony

We were thrilled to see so many happy faces in the room last night for a time to reconnect and reflect on your time in the University Scholars Program.

The evening included an inspirational talk by our own Alex Hsain about what it means to be a Scholar now that college is finished. Then graduates accepted their University Scholars Program medal to wear at this year’s commencement ceremony (and anywhere else they choose to do so). We also awarded the Alex Miller Award for Outstanding University Scholar to Mitchell Moravec for his tireless commitment to the University Scholars Program, NC State, and the larger community.
