Update Your Location and Contact Information

Why This is Important!

There have been many office moves over the last year, and there are many good reasons for each person’s information to be up to date.

  • Home Address – important for those getting paper copies of W-2s
  • Work Location – critical for DASA Tech, Emergency Services, and mail delivery; additionally, the Architect’s Office uses this information when they gather information about various facilities across campus when planning for moves, assessing space needs, etc.
  • Emergency Contacts – self-explanatory!

Home Address and Emergency Contacts

Go into MyPack Portal to verify your information.

  • Main Menu
  • Employee Self Services
  • Home and Mailing Address / or / Emergency Contacts

Work Location and Phone Numbers

Go into MyPack Portal to verify your information; any changes will show in the online directory the next day.

Online Directory

Use this link to update your information. Some of the elements are pulled directly from the HR system, but there are other elements you can change.

Email Signatures

Update your signature as needed with your new contact information, using the university and division guidelines.

Websites

As needed, update your website with the new information. After logging in, here is the path to the correct section in WordPress:

  • Dashboard
  • Appearance
  • Theme Options

Business Cards

As supplies of existing cards run out and you need to order more, consider ordering new cards with no physical address to make them more usable in the long term.

Employees Enrolled in Classes

Employees who are taking classes (whether towards a degree or not) also have a student listing. If you prefer that to not show in the online directory, you can add a privacy block. In the portal, go to

  • Student Self Service
  • Campus Personal Information
  • Privacy Settings

From there:

  • Click the “Edit FERPA” button
  • Uncheck the “Do not release” and Save

The online campus directory may take a couple of days to reflect this change. NOTE: You can maintain a full block, but have your information released for certain publications. See the “Release to Publication” link. Select publications and save.

Students Employees

Please remind all student employees to also update their contact information.
