The Honors Program Builds Career Connections in D.C.

This fall, the University Honors Program (UHP) sent 14 students to Washington, D.C., to participate in what the Honors Program refers to as one of its Career Connections trips.

University Honors Students Make Connections Abroad

This summer, with the support of a generous donor, the University Honors Program (UHP) was able to provide funding for 40 students to participate in several of NC State’s 60-plus enriching summer study abroad programs, a total investment of about $149,000.

All students, staff and faculty are welcome (even if you are not enrolled in Honors Forum this semester) to join the University Honors Program and Donald Lopez Jr., Ph.D., on either Monday, Oct. 30 for “Buddhism and Science” or Tuesday, Oct. 31 for “History and the Buddha.”

Carey graduated from the College of Natural Resources in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology, with a pre-Veterinary concentration and an Environmental Science minor.
