Jacob Sebastian is one of just three recent college graduates in the nation to earn a spring 2020 Scoville Fellowship, and he will work for the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) in Washington, D.C.

NC State junior Pippin Payne is one of 55 students in the nation to receive a 2020 Udall Scholarship. Payne is a double major in mechanical engineering and religious studies and is minoring in business administration.

NC State students Kassidy DeMaio and Jacob Weinberg have been awarded David L. Boren Scholarships. The awards are sponsored by the National Security Education Program (NSEP), a federal initiative designed to build a broader and more qualified pool of U.S. citizens with foreign language and international skills.

Poston Named a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Hollings Scholar

Sophomore Anna Poston has been admitted into the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Ernest F. Hollings scholarship program. For the program, Poston has been awarded academic assistance for two years of full-time study and a 10-week, full-time paid internship at a NOAA facility next summer.
