This Wednesday, March 31, the NC State Dance Program will debut the latest edition of its Against the Railing Project, in which NC State students, faculty and staff share stories about how their families immigrated to the United States.

Looking Back and Moving Forward

2020 will be a year long-remembered by NC State faculty, staff and students. Read about some of the lessons learned, including how Jeff Braden, retiring soon as dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, has asked his team to commit to concrete actions to reduce or eliminate racism and increase the ability to provide opportunity and increase social justice. Among other actions, Braden has set a goal of raising $1 million by June 30, 2021, to provide high-impact, life-changing experiences to all CHASS students — especially those from under-represented groups.
