Paying it Forward

Ryan Unger received support from the Student Emergency Fund after losing his home and his job in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. This year, he was able to give $2,500 to help students facing similar struggles.

Alumnus Mitchell Moravec has established a new scholarship in honor of his friend and former student body president, Jackie Gonzalez. The new scholarship will benefit NC State students who have demonstrated a commitment to the Latinx community and live in a rural North Carolina community.
