Student Media Publications Win Big at NCCMA
Agromeck, Nubian Message, Technician and Windhover combined to bring home 23 awards from the North Carolina College Media Association's annual conference.

NC State Student Media’s print publications earned a total of 23 awards from the North Carolina College Media Association (NCCMA) this year.
The awards were announced at the NCCMA’s 2021 annual conference and awards ceremony, which was hosted remotely by William Peace University. Other colleges and universities participating in this year’s competition included UNC-Chapel Hill, East Carolina University, Appalachian State University, NC A&T University, Elon University, UNC-Asheville, UNC-Pembroke, Meredith College and Guilford College.
Awards and individual award winners, where applicable, were as follows:
Agromeck: Best of Show; First Place, Student Life Copy, by Julia Harrison; Third Place, Student Life Copy, by Mandy Stacy; First Place, Photography, by Sarah Cochran; Honorable Mention, Photography, by Jay Encarnacion-Rivera; First Place, Inside Spread Design, by Cameron Motsinger; Second Place, Inside Spread Design, by Sagnik Nayak; First Place, Sports Copy, by Elizabeth Stavrakakis; and Second Place, Sports Copy, by Katie Tart.
Nubian Message: First Place, Single- or Two-Page Design, by Elikem Dodor; and Third Place, Photography, by Nick Faulkner.
