Student Health Services ranked highest in NC

As part of the Princeton Review’s annual “Best Colleges Guide”, NC State’s Student Health Services has once again been named to the “Best Health Services” list at #9. The highest ranking health services department, public or private, in North Carolina, the goal of Student Health Services is to provide affordable, accessible and high quality primary health care and health education to NC State students. The Princeton Review lauded the university by saying, “The largest and most diverse of North Carolina’s public university system, NC State provides undergrads with a high level education and great value.”

Student Health Services saw 46,964 patient visits in 2014-15 and provides additional services such as pharmacy, dental, massage and x-ray. Leah Arnett, Director of Student Health Services says, “Our staff works hard to provide an exceptional patient experience every time for every patient and it shows in everything we do. It’s a huge reason why we’re number one in North Carolina.”
