Roundabout Magazine Hosts First-Ever Issue Release Party for Spring Release

A crowd of over 50 students and staff gathered in 111 Lampe Drive on the evening of March 5 to make their very own paper heart chains (as seen on the issue cover), play games and compete for the chance to win an exclusive copy of Roundabout signed by student body president Allison Markert and Student Media director Patrick Neal. The issue release party is the first in the eight years that the magazine has been published.
Every seasonal issue of the magazine is themed around a topic of student interest, and this issue’s Heart-to-Heart theme explored emotions, feelings and mental health.
Bran Poster, Roundabout’s editor-in-chief for the past three years, felt a sense of triumph over the smooth sailing of the event.
“It made my heart do a jig to see so many wonderful people come from across campus to celebrate with us,” he said, “I couldn’t ask for a better climax to my last year at NC State.”
Roundabout Magazine is a student-run, glossy print general interest publication released quarterly. Established in 2017, Roundabout strives to bring the Wolfpack spirit to collective student experiences.
