Partners in Prevention: Teal Ribbon Campaign

Fraternities and sororities are a powerful and important component of our campus community at NC State! As a leader on campus, a brother or sister, or a member of FSL you have an import and unique role. You have the ability to help shape a more welcoming, safe campus climate that promotes a culture of consent and respect.

During the month of April, Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we are asking members of FSL to raise awareness by wearing a teal ribbon. Teal is the color chosen to represent and raise awareness for sexual assault survivors. Please join us in wearing your ribbon to show your support for survivors of sexual violence and for those working to end violence on our campus and in our community. We hope that you will post pictures of you and your fraternity or sorority wearing your teal ribbons on Instagram and tag the Women’s Center @ncsuwomenscenter!

Ribbons will be available at the desk in the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life (Talley  5125). Please drop by during business hours 8-5 Monday through Friday to pick up a ribbon and show your support!
