PackPros Offers Students Free Professional Development and Career Readiness Support

Getting your foot in the door to land your dream job can seem daunting. Especially when you are focusing on your studies. But it’s never too soon to get started. 

Busy students have the advantage of a free professional development and career readiness series, PackPros, to prepare customized and essential job-seeking skills and tools, including:

• Career Fairs
• Resumes
• Cover Letters
• Interviews
• Networking 
• LinkedIn, and more.

PackPros participant Sade Proctor, 2022 Business, said, “PackPros gives a peer to peer approach to learning about career readiness. It is fun to attend and easy to relate to the presenters and provides an edge for internships and jobs.”

The peer to peer education, together with employer advice and on-line resources give students a strong advantage when it comes time to job hunt.

Becoming PackPros-certified is another career booster, and it’s easy. Simply attend six workshops. Upon completion, students receive a professional development certificate, t-shirt, and an invitation to attend the PackPros celebration. 

Can’t attend all of the sessions? Distance Ed PackPros provides online access. Students can participate in five online sessions and attend one in-person session to become PackPros certified.
