Outdoor Explorations Spring Break 2018

This past spring break, the Outdoor Explorations program went sailing in the Bahamas for 6 days. It was nearly a week of sun, sailing, wind, waves, and the most mind-blowing colors you’ve ever seen in nature. We took turns learning to manage the sails, we snorkeled and explored the mangroves with our special guest naturalist, Liz Baird of the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, wandered around small island villages to take in the island life and slept under the stars.
