The NC State University Career Development Center invites you to join your career services and economic development colleagues for the 2018 NC Recruiting Trends & Economic Development Drive-In Conference on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 9am-3pm at the McKimmon Center on NC State’s Raleigh Campus.
Program Overview
During the conference, participants will get a first-hand look at the most recent recruiting trends influencing the college labor market as reported by the data collected from North Carolina and national employers. Participants will then discuss the research findings and explore the topic by questioning the keynote presenter and a variety of industry recruiting professionals. The conference will continue with a look at a recent regional labor market analysis coupled with a panel discussion on the role of higher education in regional economic development. Conference participants can expect to:
- Identify recruiting trends impacting the nation, South and North Carolina.
- Study the role of higher education in regional economic development activities.
- Network with career services colleagues and economic development professionals.
- Benchmark best practices and explore emerging trends in employment recruiting and retention.
