NC State’s Union Activities Board to host TUFFtalks

In an effort to put a spotlight on NC State University’s best examples of “Think and Do”, the Union Activities Board (UAB) will host TUFFtalks on February 6, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Talley Student Union.

This event will allow students, alumni and university employees alike to showcase their method of “Think and Do”. Through dialogue, speakers will educate attendees on a plethora of topics ranging from education to finance in an effort to further elaborate on how we can promote collaboration and forward-thinking to improve the world.

“We are excited to partner with Division of Academic and Student Affairs (DASA) and Student Leadership on producing an event that can inspire the campus,” said NC State senior and UAB’s Issues and Ideas chairperson Cassandra Brinkman. “Bringing together the school’s brightest minds is an exciting prospect for us all and we hope to have an event that’ll educate the crowd in attendance.”

As a university predicated on advancing the worlds of science, business and education, TUFFtalks will act as a meeting ground of the many facets necessary to grow as a society. Meant to create conversation, build dialogue and evoke Wolfpack pride, the event will strive to forge relationships and spread information that can influence our future.

UAB looks forward to the inaugural TUFFtalks as it cordially invites all interested parties to the February 6 showcase. For further information on attending, please visit uab.ncsu.edu.
