Give It Your Best Shot Flu Shot Challenge

NC State Student Health Services and UNC Chapel Hill Campus Health have entered a National Flu Shot Competition, Alana’s Foundation Annual Flu Shot Challenge. However, since there is already a friendly rivalry that exists between the two schools we thought it would be a good idea to have a challenge within a challenge. So we are now in a competition with Chapel Hill Campus Health to see who can give the most flu shots. This competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans of NC State. Flu shots do not have to be administered by Student Health Services to count towards the competition.

From now until December, when the national challenge ends, we will be counting flu shots given by each school and surveys recorded through Alana’s Foundation towards our goal. The loosing schools Health Center must take a photo in the rival schools color, Carolina Blue or Wolfpack Red, and must hold up a sign announcing their loss. 1. Get your flu shot
2. Complete this survey. Make sure to put North Carolina State University as your College/University. You can also take a picture of the QR code below with your smartphone. After the picture is taken, your phone will redirect you to the survey link.
3. Tell your classmates, friends and family to help us #BEATUNC by getting their flu shot and completing the survey.

How to Get Your Flu Shot

NC State students, faculty and staff can receive their flu shot from Student Health, without an appointment, at an on-campus flu clinic or in our Pharmacy or in our clinic with an appointment. For more information on how to get your flu shot on campus, click here.
