NC State Student Health Will Provide Care for UNCW Students

Dr. Julie Casani, Student Health Services Director, announced Wednesday afternoon that NC State Student Health Services will be available to UNC Wilmington students, who are currently in Raleigh, until their return to campus next week. Student Health Services will be providing Primary Care, Gynecological and Pharmacy Services to UNCW students who have been affected by Hurricane Florence.

Students are asked to call 919-515-2563 (choose the Appointments option), identify as a UNCW student. Students will be asked to explain their health care issue and will be advised by the Appointment staff on how to access care or get a prescription refilled. The Appointment staff will collect basic demographic information such as name, date of birth, UNCW student ID number and mobile phone number. Instructions for presenting to Student Health for an appointment or to refill a prescription will be provided.
