Melissa Barnes named interim director of CSLEPS

Melissa Barnes was named interim director for the Center for Student Leadership, Ethics and Public Service on March 16, 2015.

Melissa joined NC State 5 years ago as assistant director in CSLEPS and became associate director in June 2012. Prior to NC State, Melissa served as the assistant director for Leadership and Volunteer Services in the Student Activities and Leadership Programs Office at Western Michigan University. Before Western Michigan, Melissa was a resident director at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a graduate assistant in Multicultural Affairs at The Ohio State University.

“I am excited and grateful for this leadership role within CSLEPS.  I believe in every word of our mission and vision in CSLEPS and I am thankful for the opportunity work with such a talented team as we work together to bring our mission and vision to reality.
