Important! Kaspersky for Personal Devices Ends February 28
Personal devices will no longer be covered by Kaspersky licensing as of February 28, 2017, meaning those devices will no longer be protected. NC State is moving to a new anti-virus solution that does not cover personal devices.
- You should uninstall all copies of the free personal version of Kaspersky acquired through the NC State software licensing site.
- DASA Tech will handle removing Kaspersky from all university owned devices; if you have any questions about this, send them to dasa-tech-help@ncsu.edu.
- As a replacement for Kaspersky, NC State recommends using either the antivirus protection provided by the operating system vendor or an approved alternative.
