Higher Education Administration Program Info Panel

Are you interested in a career in higher education/student affairs? Maybe you’ve heard the term student affairs before and you want to learn more about the field. Or, perhaps you’ve wondered how staff members in campus offices such as housing, student leadership, Greek life, student activities, orientation, academic advising, multicultural affairs, career services, or others find their way into their positions. WE HAVE THE ANSWER!

Join NC State University’s Higher Education Association (HEA) to hear from a diverse panel of speakers from colleges and universities in the Triangle to learn about student affairs and possible career paths in the field. In addition to the panel, there will be breakout discussions AND a networking social with FREE FOOD! (Registration is required – see details below).

At the event, you’ll meet current higher education/student affairs graduate students, professionals, and faculty to learn about graduate school, career opportunities, and to have your questions answered!

You must register to attend this event! Please RSVP online by 5:00 p.m. on October 25! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email Marshall Anthony, Jr. at mcanthon@ncsu.edu. Please feel free to forward to others you know may be interested in higher education/student affairs.

Panelists include:

Charlie Clausen, Residence Coordinator (Duke University)

Jermisha Dodson, Assistant Director of Student Involvement (NC State University)

Dr. Barry Olson, Associate Vice Provost for Business Administration, Division of Academic and Student Affairs (NC State University)
