HES Faculty Present at SHAPE America National Convention

NC State Department of Health and Exercise Studies faculty members Peter Koutroumpis, Renee Harrington and Jeong Dae Lee presented at the 2023 SHAPE America National Convention in Seattle, Wash. on March 30. Their session, titled “There’s an app for that! Technology use in teaching Physical Education (PE),” featured a slide presentation highlighting technology use in their 100-level classes — Fitness Walking, Fitness and Wellness, Run Conditioning and Triathlon — illustrating how in-class use of smartphone apps enhance students’ critical thinking and active learning.
