Frequent Security Questions

Why should I care about security?

All computing devices store personal and business information. The key to unlocking access to that information is your username and password, passphrase, or PIN. If any of these credentials become compromised, the information they protect becomes public information.

What can I do to protect my credentials?

  • Ensure passwords, passphrases, and PINs are set on all your devices, including personal and business, desktop and mobile.
  • Ensure your credentials are strong and complex.
  • Do not use the same password for multiple accounts.
  • Consider using two-factor authentication to increase security beyond mere passwords.
