A yoga class in the new Wellness and Recreation Center
  • Sarah Ball, an assistant teaching professor for the Department of Health and Exercise Studies, is scheduled to give a webinar presentation for the 2022 SHAPE America “By You, For You” Webinar Series. Her presentation is entitled, “Enhance Learning With Active Learning Strategies” and will take place on July 14.
  • Renee Harrington, lecturer for the Department of Health and Exercise Studies, gave three presentations at NC Shape Convention: Yoga Breathing Techniques for Children; Intermittent Fasting: Is the Weight Worth the Wait?; and Sift Queuing.
  • Harrington is also competing at the Duathlon National Championships in Irving, Texas on Sunday, May 1.
  • Joy Kagendo, lecturer for the Department of Health and Exercise Studies, attended the virtual University Global Partnership Network Conference from March 14- 24.
