Fundraiser for RPD Officer Ainsworth (NC State’14)

Due to overwhelming response from the campus community to the February 13 t-shirt fundraiser on the Brickyard and requests for additional sale dates, The Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation will be holding a t-shirt sale fundraiser on Wednesday February 27, 2019 from 10 am – 2 pm at two locations on campus! The first is in the Talley Student Center (main level) and the second is on Centennial Campus (outside on The Oval near Wolf Ridge).
Members of the Foundation and the NC State University Police Department will be selling long sleeve t-shirts to raise money for Raleigh Police Officer Charles Ainsworth who was shot and injured in the line of duty on January 9, 2019. Ainsworth, who is a 2014 graduate of NC State University, has been with the Raleigh Police Department since 2017 and was assigned to the Southwest District which serves the NC State community. Shirts are $20 apiece with sizes XS-2XL available with cash, check and credit/debit cards accepted.
For those who cannot make the event, but are still interested in making a donation, the Local Government Federal Credit Union (LGFCU) is accepting them. Checks can be made out to “LGFCU” with a note in the memo line “Charles Ainsworth Recovery Fund”. They can be mailed to:
