Dressing for Success: Wolfpack Styled Professional Clothing Closet Serves Nearly 800 Students

NC State’s Career Development Center’s Wolfpack Styled Professional Clothing Closet continues to be a vital resource for students preparing for their next steps beyond the classroom. In the 2024–2025 academic year alone, the Wolfpack Styled Professional Clothing Closet served nearly 800 students, helping them look and feel their best as they pursued internships, co-ops, career fairs, interviews, and other professional opportunities.

For many students, finding affordable, professional attire can be a barrier to fully participating in career development activities. The Wolfpack Styled Professional Clothing Closet helps to bridge that gap by offering high-quality, gently used and new professional clothing — completely free of charge. From suits and blazers to dress shirts, slacks, skirts and shoes, students can access the clothing they need to make a strong first impression and feel confident walking into professional spaces.

The Wolfpack Styled Professional Clothing Closet sees peak demand during career fair and interview seasons, when students are actively seeking employment and internships. However, the resource is open year round, providing support for students at every stage of their career journeys.

This valuable service would not be possible without the generous support of alumni, faculty, staff and community members who donate clothing to keep the Wolfpack Styled Professional Clothing Closet stocked with current, stylish and professional options. The Career Development Center is deeply grateful for this ongoing support, which directly impacts student success and ensures that every member of the Wolfpack can pursue their professional goals with confidence.
