Connect with Employers at Information Sessions

[lead]In the fall semester, the Career Development Center offered NC State students a wealth of opportunities for career exploration and professional growth – through information sessions with major employers.[/lead]

Google, NVIDIA, Cisco, the Harvard Business School, plus many others offered informative and interactive sessions on campus. The sessions are arranged through ePACK, the Career Development Center’s job and event portal. ePACK is a one-stop shop providing access to thousands of job and internship opportunities – exclusively for NC State students.

Information sessions are an ideal way for employers to connect with students and let them know about job opportunities, company benefits, and the culture of the workplace. Students can ask questions and find out about job openings, internships, and co-op programs. They also have a chance to connect one-on-one with company representatives, learn more about company policies, and gain insight into what employment with a particular company would actually be like. Snacks and fun giveaways are also available!

Information sessions will continue in the spring semester. The Career Development Center has sessions planned with many other companies, beginning January 23, 2019. Session times and locations can be found on ePACK (go.ncsu.edu/epack).
