Calling Student Leaders and Activists! Apply for the 2017 GLBT Center Awards

The GLBT Center will relaunch its annual awards for student leadership and activism this spring.

The Thomas H. Stafford Leadership Award recognizes a student who has demonstrated service to the GLBT community through peer education, peer mentoring, community building, and/or community outreach or service.

The Evelyn Q. Reiman Activism Award recognizes a student who has worked to increase awareness about social justice issues, identify strategies for enacting change, engage peers in social justice activism, and/or foster collaboration across communities in order to address campus or community climate concerns.

Both awards will be given out at Lavender Graduation, which will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the Talley Piedmont-Mountains Ballroom.
Students can click here to apply for the awards. The application deadline is Friday, April 7 at 5:00 p.m.
