Beacon – Data Field Cleanup

There were about 500 students who previously never appeared in Beacon because of some piece of data that was incompatible with Beacon. For example, students from many of the US Territories have (correct, standard) postal codes that Beacon did not accept. This resulted in the entire student file getting kicked back out. We never had the time to hand-code the file for all these students. The Campus Labs developers finally updated the data fields on their end to accept standard postal codes, and cleaned up some other problematic fields as well. We hope this means that our next upload of students will get pretty much every single student. I’ll notify folks when we’ve got a new upload.
