Academic Support Program for Student Athletes tutors needed

The Academic Support Program for Student Athletes (ASPSA) is looking to hire tutors for the Spring 2016 semester. Qualified student applicants must have at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average, demonstrate proficiency in coursework and/or have received a B+ or higher in the courses selected to tutor. Tutors are highly trained and must complete an Orientation before working with our students. The Academic Support Program for Students Athletes is College Reading and Learning Level 3 Certified which allows our department to certify individual tutors. This is a great opportunity for individuals to gain experience working with a diverse population of students. Tutors must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and have skills to develop written reports.
