The transformation of NC State’s Greek Village continues, and when students return this fall new chapter houses will be completed and ready for their first occupants.
Work on the new Alpha Delta Pi, Sigma Kappa, Zeta Tau Alpha, and Kappa Alpha Theta houses has been in progress since 2018 and is part of the larger construction project to convert the university’s Greek Court to the Greek Village.
The overall project will replace aging infrastructure and provide new amenities for the NC State fraternity and sorority community. A total of 20 building lots will be available in a phased plan that will remove existing university-owned houses. To date, all 20 lots are spoken for. Several homes have completed design and/or construction and new home designs can be viewed here.
The Greek Village plan has garnered tremendous support among students, alumni/alumnae, university administration, and members of the Raleigh community. The Greek Village Development Team of alumni/alumnae, university staff, and consultants, meets regularly to guide development of the Village. A Greek Village Housing Association, comprised of representatives from the groups in Greek Village, has formed to provide ongoing oversight of the Village.
