Phishing: Don’t Get Hooked!

Campus regularly sees phishing emails sent to faculty and staff. Phishing emails may look like there are sent from IT or from your colleagues but they contain malicious links within the body of the message designed to trick you into divulging personal and financial information, such as passwords, account IDs or credit card details.

What do you do if you suspect you have received one of these emails? Notify DASA Tech by forwarding the email to your local help address and then delete email. Neither DASA Tech nor OIT will ever ask you to confirm or provide sensitive personal information via email.
