‘PackSecrets’ featured on CBS Sunday Morning

In 2018, the NC State Crafts Center and NC State LIVE partnered with Frank Warren, the creator of ‘The PostSecret Project‘, a collection of over 1,000,000 artful secrets that have been anonymously mailed to his home on postcards, to bring PostSecretU to NC State.

Starting in the fall 2017, the Crafts Center collected PostSecretU postcards from across campus and around the community as part of what they subtitled, “PackSecrets.” The cards reflected everything from humor to despair – an index of what was going in the hearts and minds of students, faculty, and staff right here on campus.

The result was a modular installation of campus-generated secret cards that were exhibited in the Crafts Center gallery through fall of 2018. The project culminated with Frank Warren delivering a lecture based on his popular TED Talk at Stewart Theatre presented by NC State LIVE.

While Mr. Warren was on campus, CBS Sunday Morning filmed students interacting with the exhibition and parts of his presentation. The segment aired on Sunday, April 28, 2019. See the clip below.
