The NC State community is invited to celebrate Veterans Day on Monday, November 11 with a free 2-mile run around campus, a ceremony, and refreshments.
Runners assemble at the Court of North Carolina at 5:45 a.m. for warm up exercises, followed by a welcome and overview of the race at 6:00 a.m.
The race will start at 6:15 a.m. and complete in time for comments from this year’s speaker, Major General Timothy Peppe (ret.), Raleigh Sister Cities.
Snacks and water will be provided after the race.
This annual event is presented by students from NC State ROTC units. It’s a great way to show support and appreciation for our ROTC students and veterans.
We hope you can join our ROTC students and community members in honor of our veterans.
